For me some pictures just look better in a plain black & white look. That mainly -but not only -applies to streetphotography focusing on random scenes of daily life. 

A glimpse into the dark night sky offers a whole new world for photography. The stars or the milky way are impressive and it's a challenge to capture them onto the camera's chip.
